Postcard No 38: Life by the River
There’s lots of very sleek yachts and motor boats on the river and they add glamour and make for splendid reflections but it’s the more workaday craft that really float my boat!

Amongst all the lovely yachts at Port Huon are a couple of more prosaic fishing boats and they always catch my eye as I drive past.
I keep meaning to stop and take some photos but the best view is after a corner and I seem to forget until I’m past the parking spot! Today I remembered!
So here is my homage to all the fishing boats moored along the river.
“Zircon” Acrylic gouache on paper. 10x15cm
