Life by the River

I find ducks endlessly entertaining as they waddle, squabble and dabble around the river’s edge.

I liked the patterns on the ducks back and also the scribbly reflections of the reeds

A nice little study of contrasting warms and cools. I chose watercolour and an unfinished approach to suggest the temporary and changing nature of those reflections.
