Life by the River

There’s a lovely garden view from one of the rooms in our house that really feels like a painting to me. I get to see it often because it’s in the smallest room in the house right over the toilet!

Here’s my version of it in watercolour for today’s postcard.

The reason it looks like a painting is the way the window frames it so beautifully.

Just another reminder to me that the frame is an important part of a painting.
