Life by the River
I don’t really paint buildings as a first choice but who could resist this pretty little cafe at Franklin. I’ve gone a bit off piste with the colours but it suits the jaunty springtime feel …although those fields are a bit autumn!
The perspective is quite off. It was only a quick sketch and I didn’t spend enough time checking angles.
You can sure tell that architecture is not my preferred subject.
I think I will have to try some more of the quaint cottages and tumble down sheds along the river to build my skills.
