Life by the River
It’s been a cold day for me. I’ve been painting an outside mural at The Colour Circle studio and it didn’t get above 12 C all day. i wore 2 jumpers but I was still cold to the core when I got home.
I’ve been a member and tutor with this group for many years and we’re now artifying the building, transforming it from grey besser blocks to a colourful artwork. I’ve finished this side..well maybe a little more to go…and tomorrow I’ll start around the corner. It’s a pleasure to be involved but it hasn’t left me much time this last week for my own art projects.
I did find time tonight to do my daily postcard!
There are lots of lovely older homes along the river and this one is looking particularly lovely at the moment with it’s flowering blossom trees.
I’ll try and sketch a few of my favourites during my year of life bythe River postcards but we all know my favourite subject is the river itself!
