Life by the River
Today has been a nice contemplative day as I’ve listened to some inspiring talks from a worldwide conference whilst painting in my studio. I find love of nature, my art and my faith coexist very comfortably. I’m ever grateful and appreciative for the natural beauty that surrounds me and for all the opportunities I’ve had to travel to other places and see some amazing, beautiful and truely awsome sights.

Today’s little watercolour postcard is from just around the river at Port Huon.
I passed the bay where lots of boats are moored on the way to my sister’s and this red one was getting ready for a day out on the river.
I counted myself lucky that it was the red boat not one of the white ones as it really shines against the blues and greens.
Some dried blackberry brambles added a nice bit of texture in the foreground.
I decided to leave out the other boats and the jetty and focus on the red boat and reflections.
Glad I was able to stop and catch this one today.
Hope you all have had as lovely a day as I have…and if not may it be better tomorrow.
