The Red Barrow: Postcard No 108

Life by the River

With all the lovely sunshine lately we’ve spent some time in the garden cutting back the overgrown shrubs and generally tidying up. There’s a lot of prunings waiting to be mulched!

The red wheelbarrow is constantly filled with branches and leaves waiting for me to put through the machine. It looks so cheery against the green lawn I decided to feature it today.

I’ve also managed to sneak in a few of the blue agapanthas that have just started to bloom.

Can you spot what’s missing in the wheelbarrow? I’ll go back in and fix it tomorrow.

I started out in this project wanting to focus on the river but as I’ve gotten several months into it I’ve realised that my life by the river is full of all sorts of daily activities that deserve to be captured as well.
