Life on the River
I love watching the coming and going of boats at Port Huon. Sometimes it’s the big navy and white Salmon ships , other times it’s the little white fishing boats or a colourful sailing boat.
Today it was the squat, red boat heading home from a trip somewhere up or down the river. This boat is a cheery sight in the bay that I always note when we go walking there. It’s a very shallow bay in places and the channel bouys mark safe passage to the boats coming in and out of the marina area. Their main function though is to give a little splash of colour in my postcards!
Should have offset that boat a bit…it’s smack in the middle!
