Life by the River

The river was stunning this morning when I got up at 6. The sun was just rising and the water was still with beautiful monochromatic reflections. I slipped across the road to take some photos and then walked along to the “Orange Boat” cove to take some of my favourite colourful boats.

While I was standing on the rocks taking photos of the orange and yellow boat reflections I glanced down and noticed some great reflections of the gum trees right at my feet. Sometimes it pays to look down!

This postcard is done on La Carte paper with Unison pastels and a few Prismacolour sticks.
