Life by the River

The New England Honeyeaters are out in the garden in abundance. They love flitting from the maple tree to the three water feature ponds in the garden between our house and our son’s unit. He says sometimes when he opens his front door it’s like walking into an aviary…so many birds and so much bird song.

If the sprinkler goes on it really sends them crazy…they absolutely love the water. They’re also enjoying the banksia flowers at the moment so my postcard today features some of our feathered garden friends.
