A Wee Break : Postcard 152

Life by the River

I’m giving myself a wee break from daily postcards over December. I plan to just enjoy the river instead of documenting it and I also have a few other projects I need to get started.

May you all have a kind, happy, loving and joyous Christmas and New Year. Whether you are a person of faith or not may you find beauty in your world, share kindness with others and feel valued and loved. I hope you can get out into nature and find wonder in the diversity of the natural world , feel the wind and rain on your face, go for a row on the river, walk through a rainforest smelling the freshness, swim in a mountain lake or just marvel at the tenacity of a wildflower growing in a crack in the pavement.

See you all again in the New Year with more postcards from Life by the River.

This “postcard” is a painting I did awhile ago of the wooden boats at Franklin. A bit of a cheat but I loved that painting!

happy break time to you. That’s a cheerful, happy postcard of your painting. Thanks for all the notes in paint and pastel of life by the river, and I am looking forward to those in the future.
