Summer : Postcard No 163

Life by the River

It was a glorious summer day yesterday. We went for our morning walk before it got too hot and I took some photos of the wonderful reflections and the foreshore flowers. I spent the rest of the day rearranging my studio and starting a couple of commissions and then was just too pooped to do a postcard!

Today it poured after a humid morning so rather than capture a dreary grey day I revisited yesterday for my postcard.

Agapanthas have turned into one of those feral escapees from local gardens and now line the roadside and pop up in the native vegetation. I know this becomes a problem but I still can’t help admire their large blue and white mop top flowers punctuating the landscape.
