Life by the River

There’s something about river stones that is very beautiful. The Huon River, where we live, has rocky edges but not those lovely, polished, rounded river stones you get in some smaller rivers. Fortunately the smaller Kermandie River that runs through Geeveston does have those lovely rocks.

I spent the day in the studio playing with collagraph prints on my CPL ( cold press laminator) and chose this one of river stones for today’s postcard. I overprinted it a few times to create a more complex image. The other prints were just single runs through the press.
