Classic style meets ecoprint

May 8, 2022

Some time ago I was visiting my local recycling center and spotted a chair I just LOVED the shape of. It was in a very poor condition with bright orange covering that was worn, cracked and torn but had beautiful, classic lines and great chrome legs. I bought it then had to borrow a screw … More Classic style meets ecoprint

“Island Summer” Mini Exhibition e- catalogue

February 26, 2018

“Island Summer” In this exhibition of mini canvases I wanted to capture that special quality of light and colour that speaks to us of long, lazy summers spent by, or on, the water. The landscapes have been amazing but the smaller details have been just as beautiful. Although it's not wildflower season there were still plenty of pockets of lovely colour on our way from Exmouth to Jurien Bay. Spectacular Yellow Waters at Kakadu. A wonderful 2 hours of gliding through the waters seeing so many birds , crocs, buffalo and a beautiful sunset. Great couple of days in this beautiful place. #kakadunationalpark #yellowwaters #NTtravels #kakaduwildlife Spent the day watching birds in Kakadu ...and doing a few walks. Splendiferous! There's a surprising amount of water in the desert...some waterholes from the last few days. Lots of birds to enjoy along the way... Yesterday it was the Valley of teh Winds circuit and today waterholes along the McDonnell Ranges. # birdsoftheNT #NTtravels Headed off to Kings Canyon today... lovely view of Mt Connor along the way with a tree full of crested pidgeons! A very satisfactory start to our trip! This little one is off to New York:) Thanks to the @bluethumb team. My new little art pod has arrived!! The crew from @pepperberrypods were great and it was cranedinto position very neatly. Very excited but also absolutely smashed as I've spent the last 3 days hauling stuff from the house to the pod and then from my old sewing room to a new sewing room. How can one person accumulate so much STUFF??? Off to the NT tomorrow so no time to try it out until the end of June.
