I've had this one for awhile but just got around to loading in onto Bluethumb . I enjoyed painitng all those little pebbles on the creek bed more than I thought I would. Something about smooth rocks. A silk scarf printed with forged leaves and a Longwood natural dye. I painted this 50x50cm acrylic from a photo I took last year . I always loved how they looked like a couple out for an evening walk and talk. It's currently in the HEAG exhibition at Cygnet. One of my favourite acrylic paintings recently. It sold on the opening day of the HAEG exhibition. Would have been happy to keep it for awhile. #acrylicpainting #tasmanianartist #tassieart #tasmanianart #beachscape #acryliconcanvas #acrylicrealism Time to finish off this demo I started to show my pastel class how to use imagined colour rather than local colour. Lots to go yet. #pastelpainting #pasteldemo #tasmanianartist #complimentarycolours #pastelaftist Thanks @adart for your generous donation of the Oil and Acrylic prize at the Waterways exhibition. I had a lovely half hour browsing in your lovely shop deciding what to spend it on and settled on some new brushes by Rosemary and Coand some Golden Acrylics. Have already tried the brushes and love them! I like how the colours change as you style this scarf in different ways. Those little pops of orange from the onion skins are so joyful! I love the golden autuumn tones in this silk scarf. garden leaves and a mix of natural dyes. Just landed in my Etsy shop . Who doesn't love a magic red dot! Very happy to hear both my entries in the Waterways Exhibition are heading off to new homes. I had a lovely day sitting at the gallery yesterday and talking to lots of the visitors who were having a hard time choosing their favourite to vote for! #waterwaysexhibition #longgallerysalamanca #acrylicpainitngs #acryliconcanvas #lindywhittonstudio #tasmanianartist #brunyislandpainting
