Life by the River
I was out on the balcony earlier planting some vegie seeds and admiring the changing view and the big gum tree across the road. When I came inside I cleaned up, grabbed my watercolours and did a quick sketch.
Just goes to show a good subject is never far away.
I love this tree for several reasons:
. it’s a tree
. it frames the view
. the white bellied sea eagle sometimes rests there
.other birds use it so we get to see them clearly at rest
So here’s my today’s postcard paying homage to the noble eucalyptus tree across the road seen through my lounge room window.
