Life by the River

Sitting here last night I was mesmerized by the light in the sky so grabbed my camera and headed across the road. the trees were blocking some of the clouds but I could tell it was going to be spectacular once I got to the river’s edge,,,and it was!

The clouds were creating so many layers and depth and the colours were continually brightening and deepening. The reflections were just glorious. I know that’s a lot of superlatives but they were definitely due last night.

I have a small box of Terry Ludwig sunset colours that I’ve been wanting to try out but they’re very saturated so I’ve been a bit scared to bring them out. This one seemed the perfect time to let them loose!
